The Department of Health (DOH) on June 1, 2025 urged the public to leverage its Patient Appointment System (PAS) aimed at streamlining outpatient consultations in major DOH-run hospitals by allowing patients to book checkups in advance.
“This is the directive of our President, to make healthcare truly felt by every Filipino. Making healthcare accessible,” said health secretary Ted Herbosa. “It’s a big saving, imagine waking up at 3 a.m. just to be here by 4, only to wait in line with so many other patients,” he added.
Patient Appointment System (PAS) allows patients to schedule a consultation at their preferred hospital, date and time, reducing long queues and unnecessary waiting.
